We have set ourselves the following objectives:
- The Trust will ensure equality of opportunity for all pupils, staff and prospective employees, regardless of protected characteristics, by:
- Removing or minimising disadvantage experienced by individuals or groups due to protected characteristics
- Making reasonable adjustments for pupils, staff and visitors with disabilities
- Ensuring fair access to the curriculum, enrichment, assessment, professional development and career progression
- Using data and impact assessments to identify and address inequalities in outcomes, participation and experience
- The Trust will provide an inclusive, professional and secure environment for all members of the academy community by:
- Maintaining clear expectations of behaviour that promote respect, dignity and positive relationships
- Actively preventing and addressing discrimination, bullying, harassment (including sexual harassment) and victimisation
- Embedding safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion into policy, practice and staff training
- Promoting understanding and respect between people with shared and different protected characteristics
